History

Established in 1978 as "Aspen Canvas", the name was changed to the Aspen Luggage Company in 1997 to reflect the upgrade of the primary manufacturing material from cotton canvas to our currently used American Made Ballistic Nylon. In December of 2003, the Aspen Luggage Company was sold to Bubba's bags and longtime locals Bubba and Tracy Eggleston. In addition to this new website which provides a much larger online selection than in years past, the tradition of luggage improvement, innovation, and customer service is being carried on today in our expanded retail store at the base of Aspen Mountain at 427 E. Hyman Ave in downtown Aspen.
